Each year, the San Diego Inventors Forum hosts an Invention Contest. The Invention Contest is an opportunity for members to showcase their product.
Here is how it works:
- You will receive up to 15 minutes to present your product. (Time may vary depending on number of participants) Your presentation can be a prepared video, live demonstration or both!
- You will be given an area where you can set up a display for your product.
-
Members in attendance will vote on their favorite product based on the following criteria:
- Presentation (clarity and understanding of the product)
- Viability (if the product is not already the market, likelihood of market viability)
- Purchase (likelihood of purchase)
- The top 3 presenters from voting will receive a cash prize. (Prize amounts will vary based on annual budget)
- The top 3 presenters will be featured on the SDIF Annual Invention Contest page.
Requirements:
- Entry fee: $50.00 (non-refundable)
- Entrants must have attended at least 2 SDIF meetings in the past 1 year period
We will update this site with the registration dates and registration information.
