U. S. patent agent Ed Wold will discuss “Inventors Approaching Funding Sources Part 2.”  He will discuss more on the two frustrating obstacles/problems that plague inventors:

  • Accessing needed capital
  • Difficulties encountered during Invention development (trying to wear multiple hats to bring an invention from concept to fruition)

He will delve into the problems and address questions inventors often have and then provide some viable potential solutions.

SDIF President's Message

Fellow Inventors, there are some quick learners among us, but most people require repetition, so information can sink in, be reaffirmed, and then become actionable knowledge. Similarly, all specialized tasks, as they become imminent, require intentional and conscious steps to be taken, often repeated multiple times. This way, things get streamlined, proper skills are developed, and progress is made.
No matter what your understanding of progress is, it usually involves getting things done in a more efficient manner
As an inventor, before you can secure funding, you have to be credible and have all your ducks in a row. Join us every month to continue your progress, learning from the pros.

Reminder- Rita Crompton, of FLeCusa International, the Invent Lady I wrote about in my April blog article, asked me to remind everyone to subscribe to the free Invent America Newsletter at www.AmericasInventorLady.com and download the free Inventors Galaxy Guide.  Inventors who have secured their patent can also be guests on her Invent America Radio show for free.  If any inventors are interested, they can email her at rita@americasinventorlady.com.

US Inventors now has a new petition that states:  THE UNDERSIGNED CALL ON CONGRESS TO PASS LEGISLATION TO ADDRESS THESE CRITICAL ISSUES

“Our patent system is in crisis. Recent changes to patent laws and Supreme Court decisions have adversely affected inventors such that the requirement in Article I, Section 8, Clause 8 of our U.S. Constitution of “securing for limited times to inventors the exclusive right to their discoveries” is no longer achieved. It is nearly impossible to stop an infringer from using an invention without permission, or to make them to pay for the damage caused when they do.”
